Brolly is led by designer Rachana Jadhav and writer Dominic Hingorani.
This designer and writer collaboration is at the heart of the company.
We create theatrical worlds that celebrate the histories, languages, music, memories and lived experiences of often forgotten communities.
From the start we wanted Brolly to look at new ways of working – whether theatre, opera, exhibition, film, installation, symposia, podcasts, animation or graphic novel, they all address injustice, exclusion and marginalisation.
Brolly gives us an imaginative space to come up with new ideas, explore different forms and collaborate with amazing under-represented creatives, communities and archive.
We have a 15+ year track record of delivering innovative projects, across art forms through local and national touring for studio and mid-scale reaching 12,000+ live audiences, 5,000+ participants, 43 national venues and creating 19 new leading roles in the repertoire for under represented artists.
