About
We created Brolly when we were commissioned to adapt Guantanamo Boy into a stage play in 2010, this became our first national touring work and lots of projects later, we still love doing it. From the start we wanted Brolly to look at new ways of working that put design and text together at the centre of whatever we were making – whether a stage play, opera, podcast, installation or film. Brolly gives us an imaginative space to come up with new ideas, explore different forms and collaborate with amazing creatives, communities and archive. What always underpins whatever project we do, is a commitment to tell stories that are often ignored in rich, surprising and wonderful ways.
